new found joy

Finally, tomorrow will be the last day of VPP, and that's like what every single one of us are waiting for. THE TWO WEEKS HOLIDAYS!!! So, as usual, Mr Yang came in to help with our project, because he found some solutions to the problems we were facing, and not surprisingly, only Shao Yuan and I among the 5 of us were around. Haha. Meddled with the board, the program etc, and installed/updated some software. And finally!!! My LEDs all lit up YAY! So next step, to test the audio. Shao Yuan's program had error, and guess who's the lucky girl? TEEHEEHEE mind worked ;) (btw I'm the only girl among the 5 of us) can you freaking imagine the joy I felt when I found out that mine was working?! Literally overjoyed. Means for PDD2 we can try to work on whatever we have to do and not be worried this and that not being able to work, means we can graduate in time wheeee!
Not that I'm hating NP luh. NP is really a really nice campus, a place where students really gets a lot of benefits be it the facilities or food. But just, the feeling of having your friends all moving on before you doing really seem to be the best idea afterall. Thank goodness my fyp mates aren't mean and gross boys that I detest. Though they are gross(they burp and fart loudly in class without warning) but they are nice people! And we share snacks in class and go for lunch together! All these seem pretty good enough company for the past 6 months and I think it'll be the same for the coming 6 months!

Yesterday was our first year (yay!) and so we did the usual thing of hanging out. Had Applebee's for the first time. It was good, i tell you. Lunch deals were reasonable and portions were pretty fair too! I had the Fish and Chips and J had Shrimp Calami(smth like that). In short, the shrimp thing was actually pasta in cream sauce with really fresh prawns! And the prawns are really yummy! And for my Fish and Chips, they were really generous with the fish, and its yummy too! The highlight was actually the Buffalo Wings. We ordered the Sweet n' Spicy ones. 10 pieces for approx $11, but super yumz. i had like 4 and J gobbled down the rest. SUCH A PIG RIGHT hehe.
Lunch was followed by an awesome movie, The Hunger Games! So strange but true, I'm starting to like movies like this, action films. I actually suggested to J that I wanna watch Wrath of the Titans when it's out. He was kinda shocked. HAHAHAHA. Then he said he wanna watch it too cause he saw the trailer just before our movie started YAY hehe. So after movie, ITS DIMSUM TIME! YAYAYAYAYAY  Scallop Chee Cheong Fun, Fried Beancurd skin with shrimps and Custard Buns FROM Bao Today! So satisfying yumzzz. Headed back home w J, caught another movie on Funshion, The Princess and the Frog, the Thai version. He fell asleep while watching it, but I think its very funny. There you go, a super fulfilling day out w the boy <3

hunger games

The Hunger Games is an awesome show. Still remember why i actually wanted to watch it. The trailer showed before our John Carter movie started and i was like "omg so sadistic please!!!!" And that's why i want to watch it. Lol. I just wanted to see how this show will end, how they managed to manipulate 24 young people to join such a stupid and brutal game. The producer of the movie itself must be a really sadistic and awful person to be able to come up with such a film, with such a plot. In fact, how does killing each other reminds them of the betrayal done? How does that remind them that peace doesn't come easy? How does it show humanity? Totally a question to ponder upon.
