tranquility

Shot this on my way back from Batam. I dislike rocky boats, but I love the tranquility the waves bring me. The sound of the waves crashing... something about Mother Nature that intrigues me.

Batam weekend: 26-28 September

Just got back from the hotel's buffet breakfast and chilling in bed half watching tv and half blogging. Due to go home later this afternoon... I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME :( spent this weekend at Batam again, leaving SG right after work on Friday evening. Headed straight for a massage after our check in at Goodway Hotel, Nagoya. Decided to book Nagoya area this time round cause it's much more convenient since we frequent Nagoya Hills and there's quite abit of things around this area as well. Decided to have our massage at Everyday Massage, Spa and reflexology, just across Nagoya Hills Mall. Super cheap, just at RP80, 000/pax. Massage was not bad, but I think my massueue was abit unfriendly haha. Bought our favourite cheese tapioca chips (small RP 30, 000, big RP35, 000 - he's munching it now) from a roadside pushcart before the massage in case we miss it again. Went "fast" for our supper - McDonalds and KFC, not forgetting we got a box of Murtabak Bandung with cheese from a roadside pushcart. It's like a fusion of crepe and hotcakes with grated cheese and a drizzle of condensed milk, super yummy.

Day 2: had the hotel's buffet breakfast before heading out for some shopping and Ayam Penyet at Nagoya Hills. Chilled abit at the pool in the hotel then went out again for a massage, this time at Sports Massage Centre which was super near our hotel. Slightly more expensive (RP120, 000/pax) but totally no regrets! The service was soooo good we tipped them more than our usual. Felt so relaxed and loosened up after the session! Had dinner at this makeshift roadside "restaurant" just beside our hotel (also along the same row as the massage centre) Belachan kangkong, ayam merah and a nasi goreng for just RP39, 000 damn cheap and yummy! Came back to the hotel for some EPL and fell asleep after watching some HBO movies.

Can't wait to get some bak kut teh into my tummy later before returning to SG. sigh back to work tomorrow, back to reality.

The sweeeeet boy came to pick me from work last evening! We're supposed to meet at Ang Mo Kio for Nakhon, but he stealthily came to surprise me at Tai Seng station (I kinda suspected since he asked me questions and he tried to be as subtle as possible) and I was rushing and walking so fast he had to run after me to catch me before I board the train without him hahaha. Thai food has kinda become our weekly ritual. I rmb him saying he wasn't a fan of Thai food but now he's eating it weekly w me. YAY HE'S A CONVERT NOW ^^ Played around w PicsArt after dinner and had a good laugh together trying to piece his face with hot bods that he desire, especially Taylor Lautner's. Great end to the night. Can't wait for yoga tonight, Charlene is gonna sign me in at True Fitness. ME IZ FAT GIRL NO MORE

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY EDIOT! 

So this bitch finally turned 21 and he said he just had one of the best weekend ever winkssss. Held his party at Amara Sanctuary Resorts at Sentosa. One hell of a bitch of location to get to, but a super pretty room with balcony and a backyard with hot tub and a super pretty bed. Checked in with the help of James, we had crazy alot of stuff to carry - 6 bottles of Jack daniels, 2 Jagermeister, 1 sourz apple, 1 vodka, 1 Moet and Chandon, 6 cokes, 2 sprites and red bull. And the wines and beers that the rest got when they arrived. Not forgetting the snack/candy bar which we had mnms, gummybears, wangwang, pocky and about 8 packs of chips/nachos with salsa and cheese dips. Fell in love with setting candy buffet ever since my birthday and especially after the candy buffet set up by Rinna and I for the event on Friday. Super happy that my snack bar got totally wiped out hehe.

People started coming in about 6ish 7, and the drinking started ever since. Beer Pong, Captain were killers especially when beer pong wasn't just beer but beer WITH Jack Daniels. DAMN GROSS. As expected, people got drunk but at a really early time like 9ish? Wanted to get the bed out of bounds but I wasnt hwartless enough lol. The hot tub came in great use too, everyone was having great fun especially the birthday boy. Surprised him with a mini Hello Kitty cake at 12am together with the scrapbook and paper Hulk figurine I made for him. So glad I managed to get everyone to get a photo with him and to write a note to him (for the scrapbook) before they got drunk/too high.

Party was great and definitely a success, thanks to all those who made it down. So glad to see E so happy and having so much fun with groups of his close friends (and their +1s) all at the same place celebrating this special day with him. And his ndu friends played a very big part in helping me with the surprises and planning here and there. Thank you guys! #hulky21st

Maze Runner

Met E for his liberty yesterday and had Nakhon at the amk outlet, yumzzzz. Went to amk hub to visit Charlene at work and decided to catch Maze Runner - it was pretty awesome, the movie got me so jumpy throughout! Love the main lead! 

Asked E to take neoprints with me because there was a machine at the arcade and we were still waiting for the movie to start anyway,  and his reply was "I've never stepped into one before" but he did anyway hehe thank you for being so accomodating, always ♡

Today is the start of something new for me, hope all pans out well. Gen X, here I come.

chill day gone wrong

Yet the end of another fruitful weekend. Went down to Queensway to have mcds breakfast with E and took a bus while deciding between Sentosa or Barrage but we ended up following the Marang Trail bec i was curious what the hell was that and ended up at Mount Faber Park haha. Tired like mad after the "hike" and decided to chill abit at Spuds & Aprons - such a nice view! And i had my berry berrylicious smoothie which was similar to my favourite I used to drink at Fuzion, the berry berry good. yumzzz 

Funniest part was when we were going up the trail and E saw the first flight of stairs. He stopped in his tracks, turned to me in all seriousness and said "can we u-turn?" Totally left me in stitches, such a bitch. I spent sooo much of my energy laughing at his sillyness I was out of breath climbing the next flight of steps. Had dinner at isteaks Holland Village because we were both craving for some pasta/fried chicken. Sent him back to his cage in Sembawang after, that poor depressed shark.

FIONA XIE XXXXX

Yet another Zouk Friday with the ndu boys and a few of my girls to celebrate Nigel's 22. Approx 15 people and we had 8 bottles which disappeared unknowingly. Pretty wild night, bumped into a few old friends, but my highlight was meeting Fiona Xie!!!!! Saw her at Velvet Lounge and I thickskinnedly went up to her for a photo, which led to of course more photos. The intoxicated me kept telling her how much I idolised her and that I loved her. Jj even asked her if she could bring me home and she said okay. Hahahaha. And she kept saying that I'm very cute and very pretty and she told JJ that he's a very lucky guy but I said we're just friends then she went like "aww why!!!!" Hahahaha why she so cute!!!! Anyway the feeling of being praised by someone whom you idolise/wanna be like since teenage years is damn up there. Really made my night, I was so jellied and hyped up after. And she hugged me hehehehehe. Oh and she liked my photo on Instagram!!!!! Okay enough. I need to calm down. Here are the pictures ;)
