back to reality
Felt the need to cut my hair so i kinda rushed into one even when my usual hair studio, Glamour Studio, wasn't open. Didn't really like it though, feels so thin ugh hopefully after washing tmr it will be different else I'd go cut again hahaha. Had Astons before catching Lucy. Didn't really get the film though, but scarlett Johansson too hot I NEED THAT BODY. Walked from Cineleisure to Oxley Road to check out Lloyd's Inn (super pretty omg...) and then to Robertson Quay and down to Liang Court. And itchy mouth decides for some Sukiyaki and Tanpopo supplies - black pig sukiyaki set yumsssss. Weekend was fruitful as usual, have a great week ahead and happy booking in E hehe ;)

food coma
Shortlived weekend this week - E had to book in last night because of AHM this morning but well, I had a great time with all the time we had so it was good enough I suppose? Stuffed ourselves crazy at Aroy Dee on Friday night I almost fell into a food coma before heading to SG Night Fest for the Romcom weekend and the pro wrestling. Romcom was great, really funny and cute for local films! The pro wrestling thing was nonsense lol obviously it was all staged but entertaining nonetheless.Walked around after and watched the night lights display at SAM, so pretty!!!! Being the usual gluttons, we got MacDonalds after walking around.... I'm guilty as charged.
Saturday: Met the ndu boys for some Swa Tow dimsum high tea buffet at Toa Payoh in the afternoon. Stuffed ourselves crazy again. Its good though, and really cheap? Like $26.85 per pax? They really ate alot though. The buffet is pretty good though, so I'll give it a thumbs up to go!
Contemplating to go for a haircut now, please don't rain! Some Aroy Dee for your viewing pleasure ;)

under the weather
It's Friday but I'm sick :( went to the doctor's today and he said it was some kind of viral flu/cold, he made it sound so serious I am religiously taking my meds now. Woke up feeling cold, headache, dry cough, bad throat and runny nose last night after my nap. Everyone is falling sick now, must be the weather. Please drink more water and rest up!!
take care x

mid week treats
Just got back from a dinner with the ndu boys and Charlene. Such a treat to be able to catch them for their liberty. Had a great dinner with great company and the boys are being goofy and cute at the same time so adorbz (esp you). Looking forward to Friday! Can't believe I'm back to this lifestyle... but I'm with an elite, so who am I to complain.
Goodnight x

Tuesday
Tuesday [noun]: deemed as the most depressing day of the week.
Been feeling really exhausted I just woke up from a 6 hour nap. Haven't been getting my well deserved rest, sometimes when I wake up for work I feel so tempted to call in sick, because I'm really that reluctant to get off bed. Stomach has been feeling weird lately, again. Feeling uncomfortable with contact of food, not being able to keep food down... it's so depressing because I LOVE to eat and also I don't feel myself losing weight zzz. Stubborn fats why o why o why. And now my throat is feeling dry and feeling as though there's something stuck there the whole time, giving me dry cough. I hate dry cough. Doesn't help that I'm trying my best to get some things off my mind. I tried and am still trying to not think about it but I have a heart okay so I guess it just comes back to me all the time, once in a while. But I'll be okayyyyyyy - stay strong x. Can't wait for the week to end.

Another great weekend, I'm so blessed. The baby sister left for Melbourne for her 2 weeks #ausbourne solo. Think the kids in our family getting ballsy. Ken flew solo, then me, and now Emily hehehe luv it. I MISS TRAVELLING.
Okay so my weekends were really eventful and fruitful, meeting people I haven't met in a while. Attended Choo's 23rd party at his place, fucking far this cck but for you ah Choo, ONE TIME. Down to Zouk after to meet the NDU boys and Charlene, another great night!
Saturday was pretty busy, travelling to soooo many places. Met E at Vivocity for the movie preview of Rurouni Kenshin: Inferno of Kyoto. The title on its own is something I won't decide to watch, but the movie turned out pretty well.
E (halfway through the movie): actually the show is quite nice eh.
Hehe so adorbz ^^ Headed to Marina Square to meet Charlene and Mark for dinner but they were too tired to join us so E and I visited the Singapore Night Festival at Armenian Street on our own. Always wanted to go every year but didn't get the chance to, and I'm glad I went this year. Pretty amazing with live bands, body art, free entry to Singapore Peranakan Museum and Substation galleries. There were even a play going on in the Substation theatre which we didn't make it in time to catch. Oh, and we managed to get our photos printed by uploading the photos to Instagram with the hashtag #spmsg Super instant!! Walked down towards SMU and there they had the tree lights display, so amazing the lights reflected on the trees were of a buddha head shape?! And they had luminous pebbles strewn on the floor for people to form words/anything they want on the grass patch. Sat outside the National Museum and join in the fun of taking selfies with the changing lights reflecting on the building infrastructure. But when we tried to get a photo the light changed colour and we got a very bad lighting lol sucksss
Sunday: Visited the Singapore Arts Museum, in search of the boob looking beanbags, but decided to tour the museum anyway. The current gallery featuring the different human senses is super cool, especially the one that shows the human response lag time - after doing something, a few seconds later what you did will be mirrored on the screen shown. It's like a reflection of what you did, No doubt we did stupid things to try the response and to see how we look like while doing it hehe. Anyway SAM has really nice displays in the learning galleries, super good for photos! Finally found the beanbag room and we were reluctant to leave, we just keep falling into the sea of boobs hehehe. A video to keep you entertained - Eileen and boobs
Next stop was the Singapore Philatelic Museum. I didn't know it was post office related, just wanted to go there for the Marvel section. Nothing much to do there, but as usual I managed to spam photos hehe. Took a super long bus ride down to Chomp Pang for dinner before E went back to serve the nation. Such a packed weekend but I enjoyed every single bit of it. Can't wait for the next part of SG Night Fest this weekend!

you
A sudden fear rushed over me and again, it scares me. I've never felt so at loggerheads with myself. Okay maybe I did before, but not for such stuff? It's been a while since I opened up to love and trust I almost convinced myself it will never happen again. And then you happened. Today's one of those days when I just want to hide under my blanket, because I can't comprehend my feelings because i can't comprehend my emotions, and the bed seems like the safest and the most reliable and the only place I could be at.
Chinese songs really don't do me well. Here's a good perk-me-up.

I AM GROOT.
tough?
Feeling much better, just still feeling a tad bit cold with a slight bad throat and irksome ulcer, but all is good. (if you're still stalking me, don't worry I am really okay!!!) I think I'm pretty tough to not be crying because of my job, at least not yet. It's been about 3 months since I've settled in this position and it's actually really not as easy as everyone think it is. Perks, yes I do get perks which are pretty awesome, but the scope is of such a helluva range that sometimes I don't even know what I need to do or how to go about doing it. Stresssssss especially if people you work with don't really understand you, don't really get what your intentions are. Crossing fingers, hoping things will really get better. I can't wait for the weekends.

Maybe my immune system is not that strong afterall hahaha now I'm starting to feel a bit of the cold/weak all over feeling. Went to find the sick cat to pass him some homemade honey lemon. That idiot is really one kind of a stubborn I had to resort to threats hiakhiakhiak. But I'm just looking forward to having a good meal (together) after he recovers.
Had dinner with mama, the two ah yis and meimei last night. MAMA COOKED!!!! Haven't had her cooking in a super long time and it was a simple fare but nothing beats homecooked meal, right? The usual fish she'd make, some meat and veg, omelette and a soup. I'll always feel like a baby princess with her because she'd get the fish meat and shred it on my plate for me, like how you'd do for a 5 year old.

Love you long time, mum. Thank you for being such a strong woman.
