artsy fartsy

Another great weekend, I'm so blessed. The baby sister left for Melbourne for her 2 weeks #ausbourne solo. Think the kids in our family getting ballsy. Ken flew solo, then me, and now Emily hehehe luv it. I MISS TRAVELLING.

Okay so my weekends were really eventful and fruitful, meeting people I haven't met in a while. Attended Choo's 23rd party at his place, fucking far this cck but for you ah Choo, ONE TIME.  Down to Zouk after to meet the NDU boys and Charlene, another great night!

Saturday was pretty busy, travelling to soooo many places. Met E at Vivocity for the movie preview of Rurouni Kenshin: Inferno of Kyoto. The title on its own is something I won't decide to watch, but the movie turned out pretty well.
E (halfway through the movie): actually the show is quite nice eh.
Hehe so adorbz ^^ Headed to Marina Square to meet Charlene and Mark for dinner but they were too tired to join us so E and I visited the Singapore Night Festival at Armenian Street on our own. Always wanted to go every year but didn't get the chance to, and I'm glad I went this year. Pretty amazing with live bands, body art, free entry to Singapore Peranakan Museum and Substation galleries. There were even a play going on in the Substation theatre which we didn't make it in time to catch. Oh, and we managed to get our photos printed by uploading the photos to Instagram with the hashtag #spmsg Super instant!! Walked down towards SMU and there they had the tree lights display, so amazing the lights reflected on the trees were of a buddha head shape?! And they had luminous pebbles strewn on the floor for people to form words/anything they want on the grass patch.  Sat outside the National Museum and join in the fun of taking selfies with the changing lights reflecting on the building infrastructure. But when we tried to get a photo the light changed colour and we got a very bad lighting lol sucksss

Sunday: Visited the Singapore Arts Museum, in search of the boob looking beanbags, but decided to tour the museum anyway. The current gallery featuring the different human senses is super cool, especially the one that shows the human response lag time - after doing something, a few seconds later what you did will be mirrored on the screen shown. It's like a reflection of what you did, No doubt we did stupid things to try the response and to see how we look like while doing it hehe. Anyway SAM has really nice displays in the learning galleries, super good for photos! Finally found the beanbag room and we were reluctant to leave, we just keep falling into the sea of boobs hehehe. A video to keep you entertained - Eileen and boobs

Next stop was the Singapore Philatelic Museum. I didn't know it was post office related, just wanted to go there for the Marvel section. Nothing much to do there, but as usual I managed to spam photos hehe. Took a super long bus ride down to Chomp Pang for dinner before E went back to serve the nation. Such a packed weekend but I enjoyed every single bit of it. Can't wait for the next part of SG Night Fest this weekend!
