Just like my previous solo trip, I really wanted to go for the yoga class at Lumpini park but E was lazy, and we always couldn't wake up in time. Day 2 was a Sunday, which means its time for Chatuchak! We all said the night before to wake up by 8 to go, but E and I overslept lol and since the guys needed to get their tailoring done E and I split up to join the respectives, the girls to Chatuchak first then the guys to tailoring before meeting us at Chatuchak. But of course before that E and I had some street food at soi 19 hehe
Chatuchak(ctc) aka JJ Market, is really super hot. Everywhere else the weather can be chill but the weather at Chatuchak is always sun over your head. First trip together with yc and Reggy so we got quite excited also hehe shopping around and looking at quirky stuff. We almost got lost looking for the Havianas which we found after giving up. I think the most common thing to have in ctc is really he coconut ice cream and to buy the havianas lol. but you gotta know how to haggle for the slippers and it will be A WHOLE LOT cheaper to buy in bulk. Wanted to help the boys get but they say troublesome no need, so I didn't get. and after seeing me wear it, E kept saying "aiya sian, should've asked you to get for me" ORBI GOOD.
My best buy was a mini cactus that as about 30baht only and super cute! But I didn't manage to bring back to SG because my uncle forgot to pass to me when I left it at his apartment to go Chiangmai lol. And one of the most quirky thing I had tat day was this super unique ice cream sorbet! You get to choose the flavours you want, and the ice cream will be at the bottom, followed by a layer of "soil" which was oreo crumbs, and garnished with strawberry, candy and parsley. Not to forget the entire thing came in a mini clay flower pot, super cute!

Took a picture of these 2 little guys above to send to E because he LOVES reptiles. And he was damn sad he didn't get to walk this part of ctc and kept asking me where was it at hahaha. The guys were looking for us but it was super hard to navigate them because ctc is really that big. We bumped into Jake, Alex and Kenny and then tried to find a closer place for E and the rest to find us. After Chatuchak, we all headed back to the hotel, and yc had to accompany Jon for some dinner with his friends so she left us first, meeting back with us when we head to party. Reggy, me and E went ahead with dinner at Pratunam night market while the rest of the boys went somewhere else. Tabao dinner back to Reggy's room since there was an extra bed hehe and also because she intended to crash at our room that night after partying so its okay to keep the room smelling like food.
While walking around the night market, there was this super pretty vintage ice popsicle truck, and the uncle damn funny, I asked if we can take photos and he say "can, want to ride also can" and so I tried... sitting on it for a photo
It was time to head back to get ready for the second night of partying, and we headed to the club next to Route 66, Onyx. Bumped into Dray while getting entry, how coincidental. Headed in and I wasn't really feeling it but I didn't want to be a buzzkill so I went on with it, and as usual, we headed to a second club After Moon, and by then everyone was more or less intoxicated to care if I was a killjoy or not so I took the chance to take off and return to the hotel first.
